March 29, 2011 A Gala dinner will be held to honour Grand Chief Edward John for his lifetime achievements as he has recently been appointed by the United Nations as the Representative for all Indigenous Peoples of North America.

This affair will be held at Vancouver's Four Seasons Hotel and aired live on APTN.

For the live auction, Coastal Peoples Gallery has donated Nature's Dream - a serigraph by internationally-renowned Coast Salish artist Susan Point.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the local four nations (Musqueam, Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh and Katsie) in support of the Aboriginal House Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters Program, which has been supported since it's inception by Grand Chief Edward John.
