Born November 15, 1972, Isacci is the son of Cape Dorset carver, Etulu Etidloi, and the grandson of renowned graphic artists, Etidloie and Kingmeata Etidloie. He has been carving since he first used his father’s tools at the age of seven.
Isacci prefers the more difficult work of creating complex pieces with varied materials, using antler, ivory, and stone. His favourite subjects are people engaged in activities: drum dancing and fishing. His pieces all have a remarkable sense of movement.
